Monday 22nd Oct

We would like to congratulate both our U19 and U16 boys basketball teams on their wins over Firhouse Community College, on Monday 22nd October. Both teams played extremely well, in these matches and deservedly came out on the winning side. Our point guards had several steals at the top of the key, to finish with an easy layup. Our board players also worked tirelessly all game and fought hard for every rebound. Two very enjoyable games to watch. Well done boys.

Wednesday 24th Oct -First Year Super 7's
Blessington Community College were represented very well in both the 1st year girls football and the 1st year boys hurling competition, this Wednesday in Ballinakill. The girls won 2 out of 3 of their matches. After their first loss, they worked hard and gelled together as a team to win the next two matches. Emily-Rose captained the team on their first outing and showed great leadership on and off the pitch. This was a very strong performance from all the girls and no doubt they will be representing their school again. Likewise, the boys won 2 games and lost one. This was our first time competing in any hurling competition as a school, and all the boys did us proud. It is great to see such talented hurlers join us and compete to such a high standard. Great performances all around.

First Year Gaelic Football
Our first years stormed to victory today in a friendly match against Cellbridge College. Congratulations Boys!
