| Blessington Community College is a well equipped, co-educational, multidenominational second level school. The college offers the full range of postprimary courses. It maintains the highest academic standards and caters for students of all abilities. Students coming to Blessington Community College will discover a welcoming environment in which they can develop their abilities to the fullest extent. In this school we endeavour to give students opportunities and experiences that are designed to help them become confident and able to make good decisions about their future. We place strong emphasis on our pastoral system. The atmosphere in school is relaxed, staff are approachable and students are treated as individuals. By working with other students under the guidance of an enthusiastic staff, the students learn to respect themselves and others. We aim to develop in our students a sense of the wider world with all its social, economic and technological diversity and equip them with the skills necessary to deal with a rapidly changing adult world of work.
