The Board of Management of Blessington Community College plays a vital role in the strategic management of the college. It serves as a sub-committee of the overall governing body which is Co. Wicklow VEC. The Board of Management has a 3 year term of office.

Nominations for the two parent and teacher representatives on the Board of Management for Coláiste Chraobh Abhann are sought every three years.

The Board of Management consists of:

2. Two nominees elected by the teachers in the school:

   2. Mr Turlough O'Donnell
3. Two nominees elected by the parents:
   1. Mrs Deirdre Ward-Halford
   2. Mr William Nolan
4. Community Representatives:
   1. Mr Michael Sargent
   2. Mrs Ger Cleary

The Principal acts as the Secretary of the Board and is a non-voting member. He/she is responsible for implementing the Board's policies in the day to day management of the school.
