At Blessington Community College, we know that everyone learns in their own way, and that’s something we celebrate. Our Additional Educational Needs (AEN) Department is here to make sure every student gets the support they need to learn, grow, and shine.
We like to work closely with students, parents and guardians, primary schools, tutors, and subject teachers to understand each learner’s strengths and challenges. By identifying needs early and keeping communication open, we can create the best plan to help every student succeed.
Our department is a safe, welcoming space where students can feel comfortable, supported, and understood. We know that learning differently can sometimes be tough, so we take the time to build trusting, caring relationships with our students, because feeling supported makes all the difference.
